The quality of a good product depends on the selection of its raw materials.Panforte, for example, is a cake that reveals an old, almost magical history through a surprising mix of different flavours. Its preparation revolves around the constant search for balance between the use of the right ingredients, their processing and the creation of harmonious sensations that every and each of its components can offer. For this reason, we at Masoni have always chosen to use choice, natural ingredients, thanks to a collaboration with trusted suppliers: for example, we only use almonds, not the more common apricot kernels; our chocolate is pure and never a surrogate thereof, and our panforte contains candied orange, citron and melon, according to the most ancient tradition.
Our production is still bound to its origins; the current owners still draw inspiration from creations that were conceived and developed across their family’s history.
Processing is taken care of by a close-knit group of efficient collaborators. Thanks to the hard work of our confectioners and other personnel, our ovens and moulds produce panforte, panpepato, ricciarelli, cavallucci, cantuccini, copate, torroni, chocolate and hazelnut chocolate bars, Easter eggs, biscuits and all the other products of Sienese tradition.
During the holiday season, or upon request, we create special gift baskets in which Masoni sweets can be combined with other Sienese products, so as to create a blend of flavours that is also a chance to dive into this splendid territory.
